Online Training
School Ages (Ages 6-12)

<< Back to Training

For children ages 6-12, school is a central focus of their life.  It is not uncommon for school age children to develop friendships that they maintain into adolescence.  Children who experience homelessness and trauma loose this “normal” developmentally appropriate opportunity, which can cause them to withdraw socially and experience anxiety related to school.  These trainings will provide you opportunities to learn about different types of anxiety and depressive conditions that school age children may experience and strategies that can be used to reach and support school age children.
